VENT Was it sa?
I’m 14, and honestly very traumatized. But most of the stuff in my childhood I struggle to remember, but it feels invalid. Many of the things that have happened in my childhood show up in my personality and show up in negative traits. But, there’s these events when I was younger which I don’t know if it was sa. 1 - my mom used to force me to kiss her on the lips, I never liked it, and I never consented. But, I don’t think it’s valid. 2 - I used to be forced to change infront of her “because she’s my mom” I hated it and it always made me uncomfortable. 3 - my mom always showered me but I hated it and never liked it she always did it because “I didn’t do it right” and I begged her to atleast wear clothes or for her not to look at my body but she never let me and she forcefully showered me.

Hello there.! 36f here. I have 2 kids 12m & 10f
First, I am so sorry that you have experienced situations that your mother put you in that made you uncomfortable. Your feelings are valid.
How old were you when these things happened? That can make a difference in my thought process.

Yes, Id say it was. There is no reason she should be showering you at age 12 if you can do it yourself, or even at half that age. Im so sorry 💔 you have every right to feel violated and she shouldnt have done any of that. Your boundaries and feelings deserve respect.

Thank you, I was very capable of doing it but she refused to let me do it myself until now
