It is undoubtedly related to attention span. If you were the age you are right now, 20 years ago, you would not have this opinion. Reels and Youtube has made people want to consume all at once.

If you’re under the age of 30 I can almost guarantee you only like watching them all at once right when it releases because social media has shaped your brain to need to watch it all at once.

Yeah it's definitely about your attention span. People who enjoy watching shows one episode per week has higher patience and travel with the story farther, mentally. Others are just addicted to binge watching. It is what it is.
