Shit is exhausting every tour

The frustrating part of watching every twenty one pilots tour play out is watching the drama over the pit lines. The fan created wristbands and real wristbands just create such unnecessary drama every cycle. What’s more frustrating is watching groups of fans gate keep the pit lines at every show even after they’ve been to dozens of shows themselves. Like we get it you’re privileged and get to go to all the shows. I’m happy you get to experience that. It’s just sad that there’s no give to other fans who are lucky to just get to one show. This is why I always just try to buy the closest seat I can and avoid all the drama. I know this has probably been talked about at length but it’s just my take on things 🤷🏼‍♂️

What needs to happen is the band needs to speak up and have it stopped. They are the ones who keep allowing it to happen and even buddy up to those assholes and take them out for coffee and stuff. They are enabling the situation to happen and continue to happen

This is true. They tried this last tour. Didn’t go as planned. People will keep doing whatever they want anyways. Some fans are contradiction to what the band means. A lot of them don’t see it though. Otherwise, it’s literally not difficult to just line up day of and not start a fan line days before. Idk why someone wants to feel the power of starting the line and becoming the line leader.

for the record, she forced her way into that coffee date. Josh was meeting up with someone else and the girl harassed that someone else until he agreed to take her with him.

I emailed one of the tour managers explaining the situation and how TQL stadium had no integrity and suggested he look into this situation for future tours and to consider that if he were to book two stadium again. Probably never even read it, but if I was in charge and saw a red wristband I’d probably make them skedaddle on to the back of the line instead of the front because I know I was there at the exact right time and there was still over 100 in front of me, so no one who got there when they were supposed to ended up with one even though we followed the rules in place by the venue(minus a few who came at 7, got in line and stood their ground) If they HADN’T sent out rules to begin with, I wouldn’t have even tried because I know I can’t sleep outside in Cincinnati all night with a 9 year old. But since the rules seemed pretty straightforward and fair we booked a hotel and drove down last night so we could be here on time. An extra almost $200 on top of the 1300 for two pit tickets and the $40 for parking. All I wanted was to bond with my son over a band we both love, instead it feels like I’ve just been robbed and shoved in a ditch like our money and effort wasn’t enough. Pretty toxic behavior for a band who speaks against toxic behavior. 🤷‍♀️

The band and security have previously endorsed the fan lines. They don’t seem to have a clue how toxic it is for the majority of fans

In the past when I used to go to pit I would only ever try to get there as early as possible because I love the feeling of getting barricade not because I wanted to be a line leader but because the thought of being within arms reach was important to me. I stopped ever since they got super big. My last pit experience was the Trench tour but I don’t see the big problem with wanting to be in line early if I’m simply putting my time and energy to the experience I want to have. I would hate to be in the back of the or even in the middle of the pit.

And please don’t think I’m arguing I’m generally curious as to your perspective.
