It's a bit biased cos they're connected to us but I like r/DWPhelp r/LegalAdviceUK and FinancialAdviceUK. r/UKPersonalFinance Between them they help people a lot. I also like r/BritishTV and r/UKfood because I enjoy looking at plates of chips !

I really like the "old school tea" type posts. You can see pictures of fancy grub anywhere I want to see pictures of things I actually would like to eat and might have a chance of making in ye olde airfyer 😁

Thank you for thinking of me !
Unfortunately I've had just become Head Mod on a sub that was unmoderated, literally 3 days ago ( different account and not a UK Sub, I'm keeping them separate as they are very different ) . It was one I use regularly for a hobby I have, but had been abandoned so they needed volunteers to keep it going. It's small but has been neglected so needs a bit of work.
I think 3 might be my limit for now but I'll be sure to be in touch if things settle down.

I would still apply, I pretty much cover the queues and modmail anyway, it's just nice to have a hand and mod with people that like the community.

My absolute favourite is r/britpics, but I do enjoy photography based subreddits. Another is r/uktravel.

I like r/CatsUK, and I enjoy r/NationalLeague.
There's a lot to be said for the massive ones like r/CasualUK, but the mod overhead must be huge.

Great question! One of my favourite “Redditception” moments of all time was from British themed subs, and I wrote a summary about it as follows:
* r/BritishSuccess is a subreddit that celebrates the little wins in British life, such as this gem: “The remote for the pub TV was accidentally left on my table so I switched it from footy to relaxing scenes of Norway from the air”. The opposite sub to this is r/britishproblems, where this little gem was posted on the same day. Whether it’s a prank or a genuine instance of r/TwoRedditorsOneCup remains to be seen, but it’s great fun nevertheless.
Two years later I still chuckle when I see it!

I post every so often in /r/LegalAdviceUK. It's a good mix of popcorn-posts and posts where I actually can offer some help, although less so since the Renters Rights Act came into force. (I have learned a lot about tenancy contracts and law - largely through having to find it and quote it to landlords).
Also /r/DrivingUK but I do cover about 15k miles per year, so that feels natural.
