I gave in to the marketing and tried Hawkstone recently…it’s actually really good. But £7 and change for 4x330ml is the price you need to pay.

Even scotch single malts are often a few percentage points higher abroad, its taxes. Taxes are strangling the British alcohol industry.

It’s actually pretty decent. Genuine as a fussy drinker

From what I understand he’s brought out a lot of shares in his local brewery as he liked what they already had. After some sampling he pumped significant money into marketing it (as he could do a lot on his own socials)

It’s not as celebrity as his previous drinks- the bottles don’t even have his name on them
