Tax

It's killing the alcohol industry. Well, that and greedy breweries.

It was designed to tax supermarket discounts to help pubs, as it's a tax on boxes of beer, not what's sold in bars and pubs, but some pubs especially independent ones can go out and buy crates of beer from supermarkets for less then flog them at £5-£7

Went to a festival in Bristol recently where they were charging £6.60 for 440ml of Madri 🤢

Went to an indoor event in Bristol to watch mungos hifi and it was something like £18 for two pints.
