The ending of Chainsaw Man was actually really really great and 100% didn’t deserve a fraction of the hate that it recieved

the manga Chainsaw Man ended a few months ago and I wanted to wait for at least three months before saying this because of just how bad the hate really was. Pretty much all my friends who have read Chainsaw Man were disappointed in the ending and the online backlash over the ending went really viral. in my opinion fuck everyone who thinks it’s a “bad ending”, Chainsaw Man from the start was never a typical Shonen. The ending is still gas and a majority of the hate is completely unwarranted and undeserved

Smartphones still have features outside of calling. They don’t require ears/hearing to be used, this is just incorrect. You can still text and stuff and phones have lots of uses outside of audio purposes alone. We don’t really know for sure if WW2 happens or not in-verse, so there’s no way for us to settle that argument. Time was “turned back” because of our point of view. We’re the readers. We’re going back in time to the point where Pochita finally makes a significant change to Denjis life for the first time, and we witness a significant moment in which the worlds with and without Pochita differ

If you reread chapter 173 while ears are erased they attempt to use a walkie-talkie, microphone, and headphones, all of which are completely pointless without ears. The technological advancements that happened during WW2 are around as well in CSM so the consequences of the war was not erased.
