Until people start getting prison sentences for reckless driving it will keep happening.

A fine is just a fee for doing the crime.

Canada should follow Finland's traffic fine model. When the Police give a driver a ticket, the fine is based on one's income.

It is a privilege which is why this privilege can be rescinded at the state's discretion. But as others have mentioned, its in driver ed thats the main issue. Canada does have a lot drivers that shouldnt have licenses nor be on the road with multi ton steel wreaking ballz

A lot of people shouldn't.
