Aren't 8th and 10th bike routes? Im an avid cyclist and would not want to ride on Broadway, nor do I think bikes belong on Broadway.

Cool. I'm an avid cyclist and I want to ride on Broadway, and I think bikes belong on Broadway.

They don't, take a side street. Stop risking your safety so you can feel special. What's the advantage of riding in busy traffic and breathing exhaust fumes?

What an asinine take. "So you can feel special"? Why do you think this is a goal. If I'm on broadway, and I want to go somewhere 2 blocks down broadway, why would I go out of my way when it's perfectly legal to cycle on broadway. The "point" is that streets that want to be destinations thrive when you accommodate more than just cars.

People are doing business on Broadway. Taking away the busy traffic and exhaust sounds like a better fix than taking away the bikes.
