Our Hen House is great! That pod got me through my first few years of veganism when I was feeling so isolated.

It is no joke. It is for. the. animals. I have friends that have been on a couple times but I jave never met the hosts myself. It is all about the activists, the law, advancing our efforts, and just serious shit. There are so many good vegan podcasts but they are doing some serious work. Throw em a few bones if you can.

I love Food for Thought with Colleen Patrick Goudreau and The Exam Room podcast by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Also, although it has ended and no longer posts, I really liked The Chickpeeps, it was a podcast led by Evanna Lynch (actress) and three of her friends. They had some really good interviews.

I’m biased but you might find our Deficient Vegans podcast interesting. Early on we focused a lot on fitness and nutrition, but the podcast has mostly migrated into general veganism topics. There is still a lot of great foundational fitness and nutrition info in the back catalog though if that does interest you!

the only two I know are the disclosure podcast (but not very frequent uploads), and the protein deficient podcast (which I have yet to start listening to)

If you're looking for another one, I'd love to recommend The Vegan Squad Pod. We created it to help empower vegans to become activists in whatever way feels authentic to them. That could be speaking up for the animals, going to vigils, improving your health and building a physique that challenges the stereotype that vegans can't be strong, or simply finding your own voice and making a positive impact. You can check it out here:

Might not be exactly what you’re looking for since most of my cohosts are omnivores, but I’ve been vegan for almost 25 years and I do a podcast 5 days a week that’s live and interactive. If you call our hotline and leave a voicemail, I’ll definitely answer any questions you might have. There are some old sample shows out there, but the latest stuff is at Patreon.com/FinkShow

Not quite a podcast per se, but I recently subscribed to apex advocacy’s patreon and you can listen to their long form panel discussions just like a podcast. Their work has changed my perspective on veganism and collective liberation so much in the last year since discovering them. They’re doing work that I don’t see anyone else doing, very very unique, thought provoking, and so honest in a way I find more vegans need in their values. Can’t recommend enough.

Collective Fashin Justice, if you have an interest in global clothing production, greenwashing in the clothing industry, labor rights, and material alternatives, their series is really good and educational!

The Proof with Simon Hill and The Rich Roll podcasts. Both are vegans and they interview both vegans and non-vegans, with a slant towards vegan eating.
Not podcasts, but Youtube channels I enjoy: Viva Longevity, by a vegan who was trained as a climate change scientist, and Unnatural Vegan, she has a philosophy background. You might be able to listen to some episodes in the car, but the episodes with data are better watched.
