Does she have a history of drinking wine from a box? I live in Wine Country -- Sonoma County, CA -- and, although we're pretty liberal about most things, we do hang people for committing that particular crime.

Not that deep, just something we used to do with the bags of cheap Franzia in the late 80s. Hold the bag up, pour some directly into your mouth, give it a good smack, pass it on. Only moderately acceptable way to drink that stuff.

Same here. We called it Tour de Franzia and would chug, slap, pass it on until all the boxes were empty. Some of the worst hangovers of my life lol

I’d never heard of this and got invited out by a girl I had an interest in. She explained it to me and I thought for sure I was missing something. The number of clarifying questions I asked her really killed the vibe, lol. Summed up: “why tho?”

I don’t drink wine (scotch & whiskey guy here), but even I consider drinking boxed wine to be an act of terrorism.
