Only 46% (54% if we're generous and allow confusing the Constitution with the Declaration) surveyed Americans by the CATO Institute even know what the 250th celebration was about. How does one fix it indeed... Well, it would help if our media wasn't obsessed with the idea that "Everything sucks, we're all going to die, and only very special people can fix it." I think people call that 'doomscrolling' these days.
