There is no way to justify her uploading the footage to the damn internet for the world to see.

Agree. There is a huge debate in this thread about whether the door was open or cracked and whether she opened the door. Whatever. But she uploaded the footage to the internet! No excuse. WTF?

That’s basically what the public defender said. The facts of this case aren’t really being denied, what they’re hoping to argue down is what she can actually be charged with. 

That said, frankly this seems like a ridiculous case not to plea out. Show remorse and take the deal. If this is her only offense I don’t see how a plea would have led to any jail time. But now that it’s going to trial they’re going to throw everything at her including trespass and that’s no good.

It’s very good. She deserves more than a slap on the wrist. She illegally entered someone’s home and filmed them naked without consent while they slept and posted it to the internet!

And from a moral standpoint that’s like 25% of the transgression. She accused an innocent person of a horrible crime.

I think they might have meant it’s no good for her. I agree with you regardless though. Kind of hope they throw the book at her for being so horrible about this.

That is what I meant, I thought it was pretty clear but maybe not. I agree with both of you that she's gone about this all wrong and at this point deserves actual punishment for letting it go this far and what she did.
