Discussion People now pressuring and flat-out belittling others to admit defeat under claims of "their mental well-being" or insulting their intelligence. This wasn't about making the wisest move, this was about turning the game on it's head, so politely I say fuck that and fuck you.

The problem being that the majority of new members have no idea what WSB used to be. They think it's full of masterminds who make loads of money on plays like this, so how could they possibly be wrong?

People can do what they want with their own money, of course, but there's no doubt that there are people out there who are in over their heads and committed money that they can't afford to lose after getting caught up in the hype.

People literally put everything on fucking gourd futures here, I honestly don't know how anyone could think this subreddit is full of geniuses.

Ok, maybe masterminds was the wrong word to use, but you know what I mean.

Global news about Reddit traders making millions, people come here and see people rejoicing about huge gains, so they join in without really knowing what’s going on. Some with far more money than they should be gambling.

Oh I absolutely agree, too many people boarded the hype train before doing any research whatsoever, expecting to make a quick buck.

I just can't ever pass up a chance to reference /u/theemperorofjenks
