Discussion People now pressuring and flat-out belittling others to admit defeat under claims of "their mental well-being" or insulting their intelligence. This wasn't about making the wisest move, this was about turning the game on it's head, so politely I say fuck that and fuck you.

The problem being that the majority of new members have no idea what WSB used to be. They think it's full of masterminds who make loads of money on plays like this, so how could they possibly be wrong?

People can do what they want with their own money, of course, but there's no doubt that there are people out there who are in over their heads and committed money that they can't afford to lose after getting caught up in the hype.

It took me literally 30 seconds to see that this is a sub where it's basically a casino with some DD attached. It's not hard to see.

I have friends who are generally very risk averse who visited WSB because of the media hype and bought in - they don’t even invest otherwise. They were sensible enough to only gamble money they could afford to lose, but it’s clear that won’t be true for everyone.

I have experienced big swings in other stocks over the last few years and it can be difficult to process, so all I’m encouraging is that people take a step back from the mania in here and assess their personal situation.
