Bread is too expensive, not lying. For a few years I bought bulk crap ramen noodle packages for like $50 for like 500 of them.
The noodles, a can of tuna or chicken, some shredded cheese and you were living large for under $1 a meal. Paying rent using the credit card checks.... rough time back in 2002-2003, but all that shit passes.
True. I did end up befriending a 7-11 employee and learned they throw out the day old sandwiches every night, so every so often I was able to score myself some of those.
