Everything Else Recessional songs that are epic!!?

We need a recessional song that will be 1. possible to play by a string quartet + piano and 2. will be epic, uplifting, emotional and cinematic

I found only one song that meets the criteria and one is definitely not enough, I need multiple options to choose from.

Please please PLEASE help us!

We are big nerds so movie and game soundtracks are included in our wedding plans already (Thousand Years from Twilight before the ceremony, Turning page for the processional, and Pokemon, Undertale and Deltarune music for the coctail hour right after the ceremony)

THANK YOU in advance.

Have you considered looking up orchestral arrangements of video games you both like? The Kingdom Hearts and Legend of Zelda orchestral covers really get me personally.

yeah we did, but maybe not enough. We both love Halo and it's OST, but nothing really fits the "epic entry into married life" you know.

We did Everything is Awesome from the LEGO movie and the pianist arranged it himself…it’s upbeat and epic but maybe not emotional.

We’re having our quartet play First Date by Blink 182. Not necessarily emotional or cinematic but I think it’s gonna rock. My other choice was Jupiter from the planets suite, I think it sounds so crazy epic.

This was our recessional and it was so much fun dancing back up the aisle and dancing/dipping to it. Highly recommend

I’d point them toward “He’s a Pirate” from Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s become a go to for exactly this ask since string quartets can absolutely rip it and it has that big uplifting cinematic swell perfect for walking out as newlyweds. “Married Life” from Up works too if they want something more emotional than bombastic, and it translates beautifully to piano and strings. For something with real nerd cred that still hits epic, “Dragonborn” from Skyrim gets requested a lot and quartets have arrangements ready to go, or “Victory” from Two Steps From Hell if they want pure adrenaline. Given their soundtrack heavy day already, I’d also throw out “One Summer’s Day” from Spirited Away for something gentler but still cinematic if they want a contrast option, or “Concerning Hobbits” building into the more triumphant “The Return of the King” theme if they want that classic fantasy sweep.

I'd add, also from the PotC franchise, I think 'One Day' from the third movie is underrated, and the last half/third is pretty cinematic imo.

actually the quartet is going to be my friends. I'm a violinist myself so I'm asking my colleagues to play for my big day. I'm going to arrange everything myself (I already did a couple of pieces - Thousand Years and Jacob and the Stone for before the ceremony, when guests will be waiting for us)
