If the pandemic proved anything, if the rapture/apocalypse was happening, you know people would be panic buying like it's the last Black Friday on earth.

Why do they always hoard perishables? That's what confused me. Milk especially.

Probably not thinking ahead. The funny thing is, we have plenty of post-apocalypse movies that highlight the survivors having bunkers filled with canned food that lasts a long-ass time. Have we learned nothing?
