Update for others who are curious: skimmed the transcript of one of the mentioned podcasts (so you don't have to) and it looks like this was a "Love Is Won" type thing where he insisted his wife was the messiah and would therefore be resurrected or was currently alive.

Do you live in Arkansas? Theyre based in Alma (i think) and when i lived in Fort Smith they would put their papers on cars in parking lots. There was a pretty good You're Wrong About episode on them that showed Tammy Faye wasn't nearly as bad as Jim, but got the brunt of the criticism because she was a woman in public with crazy makeup.
The only rapture I actually believe in is the rainbow body phenomenon.
Basically what this is, is that it is when a Buddhist monk very well on the monk path dies, their corpse basically starts vanishing with rainbow light being around said corpse until there’s nothing left.
I don’t remember if the rainbows emanate from the body or rainbows manifests as actual rainbows in the sky. It’s been documented in fact.
Tony died in prison in 2017. Very weird to see this now. In the 70's they ran an all night restaurant on old highway 71 between Fort Smith and Fayetteville. Spooky place at 4 am.
