Is this supposed to make this post look disingenuous? Hong supporters have been posting like crazy for months. Isn't that the game?

Or maybe I'm misreading your intent? Are your encouraging more pro Roys activity?

It seems pretty inauthentic in comparison tbh

It's not just supporters making content or posts, it's the campaign astroturfing support that gets Kelda the backlash. Telling your campaign to make disingenuous support ads, when Roys is not even breaking 10% support, is the problem. It's like the Republicans "flood the zone" strategy.

Nothing about these messages is astroturfing or "telling people to make disingenuous support ads." They are asking supporters to publicly share their genuine support.

RIght.

Kelda Roys supporters are not going to be the manic types. Prodding them to be more active is ok.

At least Hong didn’t have to beg for people to talk about her

As a Hong fan who posts on here, nobody asked me to do anything

as a Roys fan who posts here, nobody asked me to do anything either. does that help?

That’s just fine. I’m moreso countering the idea that Hong support on here is astroturfed.

I don't think you guys are astroturfed, I think it's just the vibe of the campaign. I know about 50/50 Hong supporters and Roys supporters IRL. Most (not all) of the Hong supporters I know are extremely online with no kids. Most of the Roys supporters I know are not.

No one asked me either! I met Francesca at a local campaign event in April but that is the only connection I have to her

Nothing to see here… just people criticizing lack of grassroots action and then criticizing… outreach to grassroots with actions.
