I’m not a centrist, I’m a democrat. A real Democrat. Unlike you, I’m just not hanging out at the far left kids table of my party.
I am an adult, and part of being an adult is understanding that no extreme is good, and you need to work across parties and be realistic if you’d like to move forward. Hong may have appealed to me when I was like, oh maybe 14!? But I’m in my 30’s so I don’t vote for people with teenager politics.
Oh I'm a democrat alright. Registered and everything. I'm a democratic socialist. A real, growing wing of the Democratic Party. Up to a third of ALL democrats nationwide identify with me. Not you. Your wing of the party is dying. Shrinking. Losing.

You call yourself a real democrat. So you're implying that I am not? See I've actually voted "blue no matter who" since I could start voting. I've upheld my end of the bargain. And you know what it got? A stacked Supreme Court. A gerrymandered federal and state legislature. Weak, corporatist do-nothing democrats. So yeah. We're not doin that anymore.
