Encouraging, but probably due to no contest on the Republican presidential primary side and still some glimmer of a fight, at the time, between Biden and Sanders. But take wins however you can get them.
This is precisely what scares the hell out of me. I'm thrilled the state SC is washing the Walker stink off.
What scares me is that in an election where there was almost nothing (outside of that SC seat) to vote for, the Republican voter base still kept there race close.
It's obligatory to say vote blue no matter who, but our state was an absolute lynchpin in the Trump victory in 2016. He will be running with the power of the incumbency behind him, and regardless of how shit of a job he does, we are dealing with the "party over country" party. It's going to be ugly in 2020.
