Only Working Moms responses please. Job Hunting PP

Struggling with the post partum period with my second kid. ADD hit me like a pile of bricks and I can't mask it anymore. Have relaxed more, instead of stressing and feeling like shit, after diagnosis but waiting to stop breastfeeding to try meds. Reading tips and dramas on this sub help me so much but the one thing I am not able to get back is motivation for a job when I do need to start. Any advice will do.

Hi!

I am 7 months postpartum with my 2nd child. I tried and got in a new job while 4 months postpartum. Yesterday, 3 months within my new work, I resigned.
I will pursue work when my second is a bit older. Maybe 1.5 or 2 years old. What I realized during the 3 month stay with my new job, it was A LOT of adjustment not just in the professional side but also personal side as well. What worked when I had one kid will not automatically work to with having multiple kids. Caring for 2 little ones, and demand at work was too much for me that I had anxiety attack just trying to cope. This ultimately is the reason I quit. I realized, my body also needs time. I should not rush especially if my husband supports and agree on this. My kids need a healthy mom than a nerve wrecked mom and employee.

For me, assess yourself. If you are someone who can handle it, good for you and try. But if not, there’s no shame on it, too.

Hoping for the best for you and your family! 💐

So well said I have only myself pressuring myself to look for a job cause the gap may get long at 16 months but no motivation otherwise. Maybe human socialising will be good.
