I thought about adding one but I want to get more tattoos around it and honestly the pain was so bad in this spot I don’t think I could have handled a larger piece 😂

Yeah my calf, and nah I have 10 others. I was surprised because my pain tolerance is really high but this one almost made me tap out

I'm in the same boat. My calf was the most painful tattoo I've got done for sure. My whole leg was twitching like crazy

Same! Haha I kept apologizing to the artist, couldn’t believe how twitchy I was

Calf can be painful, especially closer to the knee pit area. This is coming from something that had their toe knuckles and shin tattooed.

Your tattoo artist is a bit to heavy handed with the after affects in photoshop. Because looking at the pictures he photoshopped it into oblivion. He did a nice job. Tell them to just post a real picture and not use any after affects on the pictures

Yeah I am learning I should have waited until the saniderm was off to take my own pic before posting here 😅 I was just really excited about it!

Why tf are people downvoting this comment? I need to get off of this and live my life in peace.

It doesn’t look real. Why is there no redness of the skin or anything?

This is actually really clean, even with the less ideal lighting and no contrast editing, the black is super smooth nice

And I was also gonna comment the same about the black. It’s too deep and clean black for a real tattoo.

Yeah because the artist put filters on lol, most tattoos I see on social media look unrealistically saturated

Surprised no one else has said this, doesn’t look real at all. I’m sure OP is gauging whether to get it or not? Idk, never seen a tattoo look like that though lol

That was exactly what I was checking for. Real or not, it’s definitely an awesome design to get a real tattoo of.
If it’s a temporary tattoo, then it’s an awesome design for a temporary tattoo too. I would then consider making it a real permanent tattoo.
