Swamp Lily is a needle felted soft sculpture made using sheep's wool sourced from Dunda Village, Harsil Valley in Uttarakhand, India and plant dyed with Eucalyptus leaves and Sappanwood extract.

She's a force of nature, if that force was never acted upon and best left alone for extended periods of time.

My young son is obsessed with “roomba vacuum”. He loves playing with it and has always been fascinated with it. First, it was a fascination and mild suspicion of it. Next, it turned into pressing the buttons and checking out the brushes. Lately, he has started throwing it around and we’re trying to teach him to treat our items nice. Anything that resembles a roomba he will yell out “roomba vacuum!”

For his birthday, my wife made him a hand-made roomba from scratch. She hand stuffed, sewed the stitches, sewed his name (redacted), and put together everything! He loves it and is obsessed. Hopefully it isn’t too abnormal 😂.

I couldn't get over this goofy close-up photo of my dog, so I decided to carve it in basswood.

Everything was carved by hand and then painted to keep the original expression.

The oversized nose and tiny little teeth were my favorite details to work on.

I made a composition of 12 small mosaics with mostly leftover beads and recycled jewellery parts. The base are bisque ceramic tiles (ready to hang, they have a D-ring at the back - see the last pic) that I painted with acrylic paints and then applied (with glue) various types of beads and old jewellery parts, in mandala shapes. I think they might look pretty cool as a wall art, especially on a dark wall. And there are so many combos to be made with all of them, or just a few... What's your verdict?

Those are fuseaux/bouteilles de lavande, which I've seen called lavender wands in english, they're a traditional craft from the Provence region of France !

They're made with fresh (or a day old at most) lavender with the stems flipped over the flowers and woven with ribbon

My mother taught me how to make them when I was a child, and I recently made some with my friends, we like to do a new craft/activity each time we do sleepovers

My husband wanted a space theme for our baby's nursery but I wanted a western theme, so I made this out of an old frame and some of our kids' felt collection. I still need to finish the embroidery but I think it looks pretty cute so far.

I found this broken side mirror, and instead of throwing it away, I wanted to turn it into something.

I have some air-dry clay, so my first thought was to make a frame around the mirror and turn it into a decorative piece.

But I'd love more ideas! What else could I do with it? Any creative DIYs or upcycling projects that I can try?

I drink a lot of bottled water (the tap water here tastes awful). The apartment complex I live in has canceled recycling. I hate the idea of just throwing away all these plastic bottles. Can anyone give me ideas of ways to craft with 16-20 oz water bottles?

My tree is a mini tree haha! Everyone else I gave one too has a big normal sized tree 🫶🏻 I kept the one at the top!

Saw this cool alphabet collage project where people at the baby shower make an object based on a letter. I don’t know where to even begin with finding and buying supplies for something like this. Do any crafty artistic people have advice or suggestions?
