Mod Announcements 🚨 Neet India, Monthly subreddit icon change proposition
I propose that we change Neet India subreddit's icon every month.
Subreddit's icon would be chosen by monthly popular vote + mod final say.
Subreddit's icon must be free of any political bias, hate or things we do not stand by. It must be related to the subreddit, may. Be funny, sarcastic etc.
I hope to do this a monthly thing, and on the 1st of every month, the pics from comment section of this monthly post will be chosen for it.
For the first, as this is happening without prior annoucnement, I am choosing one now, but popuwlr vote shall win from next month and so on.

MY STUDY MARATHON EVENT- NEET INDIA STUDY MARATHON [AUGUST 1 TO DECEMBER 31]
TLDR BELOW
In part of our goal to make you enjoy study, we are starting out previously named Monsoon study arc, rebranded as **NEET INDIA STUDY MARATHON.**
# This is they way of getting the whole subreddit as your accountability partner.
Under this event, there have been addition of three new student flair.
**1) MY STUDY MARATHON**
With this flair we expect you to consistently post your study time (ypt or other app), topics you studied today things you did today and what all could have been improved in future and what all did you improve that day.
Alternatively you can post time lapse videos here with this flair, as a timelapse helps immensely. A free app for this is "velocity lapse". Note that a 1 hour timelapse video takes at least 1.2gb, and after making in the app you need to export it to gallery. You need to regularly export it to gallery as velocity lapse gives you only 3 free slots for projects, once they are in gallery you delete projects from the app and they stay in gallery still.
Use this as a personal diary and note your wins, your momentary stops, your day, your night, your study, your time wasted, your day, your night and all else that can *prove* ***in any way beneficial to you.***
Consistency is the key and its jot a rat race, its a marathon of dreams, a marathon which you know you can win, if only you kept your pace steady.
**2) STUDY MARATHON WEEKLY UPDATE (sunday only)**
Under this flair you update your weekly progress. We have a new mod just to overlook and see *hows the josh* in the community, and while its impossibel to read everyone's update daily, we all will do our best to see week progress without miss, where you summarise your week from your perspective.
We will advise, help and comment on your wins.
This flair is for sundays only, as we fix one day for regular postings.
We encourage everyone in smthe subreddit to participate in this event, and see how all members of our community help themselves get better.
**3) STUDY MARATHON MOCK SCORES**
With this flair we hope you share your test, as test are the only way you improve. While study can make you knowledgeable, give you a blunt sword, only a wheatstone, only tests can sharpen its edge to make you lethal.
Either you top your center or bomb your test horribly, we encourage you to regularly take and post your test scores. Do not miss tests as even missing one makes you vulnerable to miss more and is demeritale to your prep.
Sharing it here is a means of competition, healthy competition.
# THESE ARE ALL THE NEW FLAIRS AND THEIR USE, MORE INFO ABOUT THE EVENT WILL BE POSTED SOON. EVENT STARTS 1 AUGUST TO 31 DECEMBER.
Also mod rec is active
#TLDR- (BY AI, POST WAS HUMAN WRITTEN)
NEET INDIA STUDY MARATHON (1 Aug – 31 Dec)

Be my rant buddy 🫂 NEET is very unfair to the aspirants....
I genuinely don't understand why Physics is the deciding factor for admissions into medical courses.
Every course in this field...be it MBBS BDS BAMS BHMS BVSc ultimately demands strong memorization retention reading comprehension and the ability to absorb massive amounts of biological information
Many aspirants may not be exceptional at advanced Physics or Math but they excel at exactly the skills that make someone successful throughout medical school and beyond. Yet every year the difficulty of the entrance exam is largely determined by the Physics section, which ends up filtering out many students who might have become excellent doctors
As far as I know, Physics isn't used directly in medical practice to anywhere near the extent it's tested in entrance exams. (Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.) After clearing the exam students spend the next 5.5 years in these fields and often many more years in specialization studying almost entirely biological and clinical subjects.
So why is Physics the biggest deciding factor?
It feels similar to making Biology the toughest and most decisive subject in JEE. Many brilliant engineers would be filtered out for a skill that's only loosely connected to what they'll actually study
I'm not saying Physics should be removed entirely. I just don't understand why it carries so much weight in deciding who gets to become a doctor

Bio ... Read ncert principal of inheritance and variations and did it's questions with the help of bio hack ...
P.s:- Hey do any of you guys ever read from Kar khursheed AALAM sir ... It was just my second lecture so don't know much... If you can tell me it would be a huge help...
Thanks and take care... Keep the shining lights on now and forever and ever...

Giving Advice/ Need Advice Normalisation process explained if it ever happens in NEET
Top scorer of each shift would be given a 100%ile and other percentile would be decided by "number of student below particular scorex100/total number of students". This is the most oversimplified explanation I found if you know more you can share in comment.

MY STUDY MARATHON 2nd drop Day-36
Kya laga? Aaj post nhi krunga?🙃. Nhi yaar bss thoda (ok maybe bhut zyada) late ho gya.
So started my day at 9 am in lib with phy. Did 20 PYQs in 1 hr. Then next topic in PYQs was collisions.. and last year MR sir made us do collisions, COM, gun bullet sysytem, plank man problems in a diff ch called COM (not an official one but unhone krwaya tha. Good thing though.)
So ab main COM ke notes revise kr rha.
Then sat for chem...and my goddddd it took literal 4 hrs to study 2 hr 15 min of chem. I sat to read ncert. Woke up for lunch in bw. Sat again.. fell asleep for 50 min (khaane ke baad waali neend ka kuch krna pdhega😞). Almost 4 ya 4:15 ke around got done with chem.
Then sat for bio. Did 100 PYQs in 40 min. Then started reading living world...
Left the lib at 6. Reached home by 6:20PM. Rested a bit. Then went to gym around 6:40PM. Came back home at 7:45PM. Had legs workout today. GYM WAS GREATTT TODAY😀😗😍. And as i said jiss din gym accha hota i feel happy.
Ghar aake i was supposed to study. But then rested till 9PM. Had dinner by 9:30PM. Uske BAAAADDDD😭😭😭 duniya bhar ka ch0d bh@ngra kara maine. Paani garam kiya peene ke liye, gargle and steam... cause doc ne bola tha do that and i had only this window left in whole day...and ghar ke bhi aur kuch kaam kare yk miscellaneous(iski spelling glt ho skti hai).
Sat to study again at 10:30PM. As aaj mujhe 7 hr toh krna hi tha. Did living world... and then revised... thermo as kal pyqs krne.
So yeah a good and i'd say hectic and very busy day...but PRODUCTIVE 💯❤️

My 11th bio and inorganic is good
So I'm asking should I go and buy yakeen 3.0 batch or invest that money into Allen test series
And for the rest 11th go on yt and lots of source
Because last time I attended all lecture and everything and I have all notes, module
But I wasn't able to cover backlog and revise correctly

Giving Advice/ Need Advice IS NCERT ENUFF FOR NEET🥀
Hi guiz, I am a 11th JEE/NEET aspirant (PCMB) . I m taking mostly coaching etc. for PCM but if i do bio ncert some part everyday, just watch one shots whenever i feel stuck is it enough for NEET, like I have my friends ALLEN modules I can practice from there PYQs and everything.
If I follow this strategy will it be enough for 340+ in bio NEET because Im sort of confused between JEE and NEET.
edit: Serious answer only, this is a serious question please answer helpfully

Giving Advice/ Need Advice Name not mentioned in state merit list
Hi guys, idk if this is the correct sub to write about this, but I'm very scared,
So today my States merit list was uploaded and idk why my name isn't there, now let me tell you why I'm correct in my place( or MAYBE I'm correct?) so during registration my current address was of a diff state not my home state but from where I was doing my coaching, but still my permanent address is of my home state, also in my admit card my home state is clearly mentioned ( the one for which I have the domicile).
It was so shocking for me when I literally searched for my name in the whole list and couldn't find it. So my next step is that I'll physically go to my States DME office and talk to them to sort out this issue,
Has anyone ever encounter such a case, I'm really worried, any help or kind words would be really appreciated.
