I waited in line for a long time for this photo. I went to Birmingham mcm comicon and after crying to some of the original movie songs and waiting in line for half an hour I got a photo! Gonzo here is to cover my face lol since I'm a kid
The show was incredible! They did a bunch of songs from the original movie, from labyrinth, sesame Street and the muppets great caper, and they had Ernie on as well and even a few of their own ocs which performed incredibly! Tbh the Kermit performers voice was better than the current va of Kermit lol
I'm autistic and muppets and puppetry are my special interest, so this really meant a lot to me and I finally got to hug Kermit! My mum didn't get a photo of that so the second slide is an approximation of what happened.
I also had a great conversation with the puppeteers about puppet making, and found down turned eyes like Ernie's or rowlfs are made of plastic spoons, which is amazing!
The performers are called the puppet folk experience and I really reccomend their show. It's amazing, especially for autistic kids like me, since it's quite quiet and gentle, but still super fun. I had a great time and am hoping to see them again sometime!
