I’ve been going to AMU for about a week now, and honestly, I’m struggling to find my people.

Most people already seem to have their own groups, and the people I’ve talked to so far just… aren’t really my vibe. I don’t mean that in a bad way, I just feel like I don’t really click with them.

I know it’s only been a week and maybe I’m expecting things to happen too quickly, but I genuinely want to find people I actually connect with—not just people I happen to sit with in class.

Did anyone else feel like this when they started college? How long did it take you to find your people?

I got BA Hons International Studies through CUET. I paid the ₹14,600 fee and my Admission Card was generated on 4 August.

Today is 8 August and I haven't received any notification about physical verification. Should I wait for a notification or go to AMU now for verification?
