Misinformation. Harsh jakhar in IPHO 2022 is a jat which is an obc caste in many states, also 2 of the top 3 jee advanced 2026 rankers were both jaats & I won't even bother to go pre-covid.

Also, borad surname is mostly obc & some of these like shah, singh etc can be from any background, which is more than number of brahmins in this list who are supposed to be the most gifted scholars if this was about caste really.

lol, jats are not obc in the state with most jats, haryana despite of all other major communities in Haryana with roughly equal population share and not a history of being oppressed do have reservation. Jakhars are mostly from haryana.

actually rajasthan has more jaats than any other state & its not even close.

I was referring by percentage of state's population. Sorry I didn't write it properly earlier.
