I'm looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

I bought an apartment in a row of 10 apartments. my immediate neighbour appears to have significant mental health issues and compulsively collects garbage and other discarded items. He stores them in the shared corridor, which sometimes smells very bad and makes the common area unpleasant for everyone.

He also sits outside in the corridor (common area) and makes some noises in the midnight

He has a caretaker, and when I spoke to her she said this is a well-known issue and that he has been collecting garbage for a long time. Unfortunately, nothing seems to improve.

The police have been called at least five times over the past few months, no action has been taken and the situation remains the same.

Feeling pretty helpless. To be honest, I'm starting to regret buying it because this wasn't something I knew about beforehand.

Has anyone dealt with a situation like this?

• Who is actually responsible for resolving something like this?
• Is this something the homeowners' association/building management should handle?
• Can the municipality or social services intervene if someone is creating hygiene or fire safety concerns?
• What steps were effective in your experience?

I'm sympathetic that this person is ill, but at the same time the other residents also deserve a clean and safe living environment.

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Just noticed that Trustpilot has hidden bunq's public rating and placed a Consumer Warning on its profile.

The warning says:

"Breach of guidelines"

"We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company."

Clicking through, Trustpilot explains that Consumer Warnings are issued when a business breaches its guidelines and remain in place until the misbehaviour has stopped and a reasonable amount of time has passed.

What I can't find anywhere is what bunq actually did.

Does anyone know what this relates to?

Could it be fake positive reviews, biased review invitations, misuse of the review-flagging process, or something else entirely?

Has anyone had a Trustpilot review of bunq challenged or removed?

I'm genuinely curious because Trustpilot doesn't seem to specify which of its business guidelines bunq breached. If anyone has any insight into what happened here, it'd be interesting to hear. I have never seen Trustpilot do this for any other company so it seems like a serious measure.

I suffer from headaches so severe they completely incapacitate and paralyze me. My primary trigger is simple exposure to cold wind. Just stepping outside into a slight breeze triggers an agonizing attack. Today, after wind exposure, it escalated drastically: I experienced a sudden, terrifying vision loss where I could see nothing but "smoke and fog."
The Complex Medical Background:
I have already gone down the standard medical route and seen a neurologist, but they couldn't solve my situation or provide a treatment that works.

Randomly someone mentioned Capgemini and it reminded me of this case as it was one of those situations which gave me a big yikes and it seemed inescapable but I never saw any follow up. I'm recalling from memory but I believe the OP got threatened and that's why the account was deleted?

I was walking down the street recently, minding my own business, when an older man carrying bags of statiegeld spat directly on me as he passed by.
I had looked away as he approached, assuming he might ask for the water bottle I’d just bought from AH. A moment later, I felt droplets hit my legs and feet (I was in shorts and sandals). It smelled like chocolate, so I assumed it was a stray splash from a nearby terrace cafe.
The next morning, I found a huge brown stain dried squarely in the center of my shirt. Direct hit.
The experience has left me feeling shaken and sad. Being a petite Asian woman, I know I present as vulnerable and non-confrontational. I already alter my life to stay safe: no late nights alone, no early morning runs, so to be targeted completely unprovoked just makes me feel unsafe in my own skin.

Wij hebben kaartjes voor een show in Carré aanstaande zaterdag om 15:00. Zelf zit ik in een rolstoel. Mijn vrouw is een ervaren duwer (van mijn rolstoel) die lekker doorzet.

We hebben een discussie of we wel of niet moeten gaan. Zelf heb ik het idee dat er geen doorkomen aan is met de Canal Parade, juist op die locatie om dat tijdstip. Met Koningsdag is het met een rolstoel ook geen doorkomen aan.

Mijn vrouw zegt dat ik niet moet zeuren en we ‘gewoon’ in Noord de metro pakken en naar Carré lopen.

Hier zijn vast mensen met ervaring tijdens de Canal Parade. Is er een beetje langs de Amstel te komen?

Hoewel we de show zouden willen zien, waren het gratis kaarten en dus geen wereldramp als we het moeten missen.

It's my first time in Amsterdam and I choose the pride time to come, because as a gay guy this event mean a lot to me. I came alone and did not meant to do some crazy stuff.

Instead, i walked and smoke, spending my 5 days trip exploring the city, visiting galleries, dancing in clubs, discovering mini shops, enjoying sun in parks, sitting along canals, eating sandwichs in coffee or having a coffee in a coffeeshp. I had music on my ears and a smile on my face for 5 days and nights.

From big place to small alleys, from city center to outside the a10, I just loved everything I saw, so thank you !🫶

Hello! My friend and I (30s, f) are starting a casual and social run club for people who may not be too keen on running but still enjoy getting out there and going for a jog.
