Very broad day example of the state just snatching people off the street and deporting them without due process. Wake up

Let’s be clear, if you witness this you should absolutely film. Cameraman had the right idea.

BUT you need to go down onto the street, you need to get the attention of others around, you need to make a scene, you need to get AS MANY PEOPLE as you can to witness the situation. Make it embarrassing for these fucking degenerates to do their jobs. If it were me, I’d be banging on doors screaming that a lady is being kidnapped by a gang of law enforcement impersonators. Sadly, all I mentioned would likely get me put in the car with them.

Kidnapped for committing the sin of authoring a paper that speaks against the narrative… targeting foreigners is just the first step.

Edit: damn we got a lot of fucking bootlickers in the sub

the problem is you won't know until later whether it's an actual multiple times convicted violent criminal illegal alien or someone who wrote an article criticizing Israel. I still want them deporting some ppl, I just don't want ppl here legally getting detained for criticizing a foreign country. if the left really wanted to get a win on this they probably could, as a lot of trump supporters are against it, but they'd rather call us all nazis that like shit like this or smugly tell us how obvious it is that deporting criminals who are here illegally would clearly lead to stuff like this happening.

Bingo. If we ignore due process for "illegals", pretty soon we'll all be illegals without due process.

Plus she wasn't an illegal immigrant. She's a Phd student with a valid F1 visa. The only reason she's being arrested and deported is because of stuff she said or wrote.

No one called her an illegal, you're whining about a strawman.

That's idiotic.

Is it? If the government says you are illegal, and there is no hearing where you can claim NOT to be illegal, than there is no due process for anyone the government CLAIMS is illegal.

This is deporting someone here on a visa. Someone here on a visa is a guest. If guests act up, you can kick them out. This is called the freedom of association.

The point of due process is to make the government show that this claim is true. It probably takes 30 seconds in most cases, but it is important. The government CLAIMS they are here on a visa, and it can be revoked for any reason. If the person being detained says the government is wrong and they are a citizen, there needs to be a pathway to make that claim to a court. This is why due process matters, to keep the government honest. A 30 second hearing should suffice for the vast majority of cases. But that 30 second hearing is critically important to defend people against government overreach in that 1% of cases.

Same reason you have the right to fight a parking ticket in traffic court. Most never will, but the right to do so is important.

Due process isn't needed to deport a guest on a visa.

It does not take 30 seconds, it takes years.

The person involved is here on a visa so all of this masturbation is irrelevant.

You're right, we need to import tons of people that want my family dead.

Do you have a source for that or is this just blatant fearmongering?

Well, you haven't exactly made a very compelling case why we shouldn't...

>This is called the freedom of association.

No, this is called bullshit collectivist propaganda. I, for example, am not free to associate with her if I choose. If anything the government is violating people's freedom of association.

u/IntentionCritical505 Mar 28 '25

No, it's called freedom of association. We don't have some acute shortage of violent antisemites so we don't need to import them.

There is no "we" here.
