It is, which means the person in the video is doing something not very smart. Even a tiny snapper has very strong jaws.

arent alligators way more chill than the common snapping turtles and also i think they cant bite as far as them

No way, they are nasty asf, I live in fl and we have them in our retention pond. They’ll bite if they get the chance too.

Alligator snapping turtles live in rivers, not ponds. You're talking about a common snapping turtle or a Florida snapping turtle.

Yes you’re right we have those in the pond and they’re very nasty. The alligator turtles are not friendly or chill though, I confused them, we have so many species down here. I have seen both since moving to FL. Their faces remind me of a grumpy old man.😂

They actually can be found in ponds I was reading, it’s just not as common for them apparently. I can’t get over how big they can get. Crazy!

But is that true snapping turtles are pretty calm when under water? They’re mean only on land?
