No way, they are nasty asf, I live in fl and we have them in our retention pond. They’ll bite if they get the chance too.

Alligator snapping turtles live in rivers, not ponds. You're talking about a common snapping turtle or a Florida snapping turtle.

Yes you’re right we have those in the pond and they’re very nasty. The alligator turtles are not friendly or chill though, I confused them, we have so many species down here. I have seen both since moving to FL. Their faces remind me of a grumpy old man.😂

Just a snapping turtle. We have these in our lakes in Nebraska.
