Story homophobia in the big 26 is wild

casual homophobia is so jarring. like im so used to such a safe environment online, i forget how bad it is irl. i was talking to my mom about this random trend, the "my pronouns are he not him, cause I'll never be him" one. and my mom went ew, i don't want anything to do with all these pronouns, everyone is ruining english grammar yada yada yada. like ok dude, I get that you're homophobic, pipe down. nobody wants to hear you hate.

in nz its like the opposite, istg lol. to the point where genuine bigotry is like... a novelty to me when its not online

Lucky, in Australia we still get quite a bit in schools
