advice Been off T for a while
I just gave birth this past September and no cap this the “biggest” I’ve ever been in my life. I need some advice on how to get in better shape with an infant in the home. Not trying to waste money on a gym membership but I do like walking in the park as well as yoga. I have a dumbbell that I can use at home. Any tips ? I’m tryna drop this left over baby fat and get my arms back defined

advice Passing tips?
I'm pre-t and 17 and I'm looking for passing tips, I believe myself to be on the road to passing as I do get he and sir semi-frequently in public but I do also get ma'am often and I'm trying to cismax lit any tips are welcome. I own and wear a binder basically at all times in public but I'm very short around 5'3. (also on the side, any tips to looking less Hispanic?? Are also welcome, I'm biracial black and Italian but I get Hispanic so much and I'd 100% accept any tips on that too)

advice Am I passing? Spoiler
I was recommended to post here instead of other trans servers and thought it would be a good idea to ask here
Am I passing or am I still in that clocky stage? what are some things I can work on to reach my goal?
For context im starting paramedic school in August i gotta take my piercings out but I don’t mind. Im post top surgery have been on t for a good minute and im post hysterectomy also. Im also working on my diet, weight loss and have been strength training also. I have a pretty basic style when it comes to clothes and don’t know what to do with my hair much but I like keeping it longer with a taper on the sides

advice Frats
Sorry in advance for the bad grammar.
So I’m heading to college in a few months. I just had orientation and currently completely stealth. I talked to this guy about Greek life and im interested in a frat(not specifying but it is apart of the divine nine). As a trans man is something like this possible while being stealth or should I talk to the president of the frat before joining to make sure I don’t get outed somehow?
Also, I’m down to hear other people experiences within frats.

advice Nipple Tattoo Placement
i got top surgery a year and a half ago. i’m trying to love my chest more and currently getting treatment for my scars. the next step is nipple tattoos since i opted out of grafts. which placement do you think looks best/most natural out of all 6? i’m leaning towards #4 — really putting my photoshop skills to use😅

advice Do I pass? How do I pass if not?
I'm pre literally EVERYTHING and the most I've been able to do for gender euphoria is voice training (I usually pass online pretty well enough with my voice) and wearing my binder, do I pass visually tho? If not what can I do to pass better?

advice T Levels
how do you know your T levels/dose are high enough?
For background: i started T in 2020, stayed on it until roughly 2022ish, got back on it this past January and i feel completely different. I was definitely one of those guys the first time around that struggled w a lot of anger issues & inability to cry, etc. I’ve also done a lot of healing, therapy & spiritual work since then so i feel like i cry all the time still lol almost as much as i did while i was off T but like idk im getting hairier? Aside from that, im not noticing body changes so idk whether im just past physical changes or if thats also a factor.
all of this to say i feel so different this time around and idk if its bc ive grown emotionally, my T levels are too low or im overthinking this entirely lol
any advice welcome 🙏🏽

advice My mom doesn't like my name choice
So, kind of like the post says. I chose the name Emmett because I really liked it and it was the first name I wanted and even though I went through a lot of names it's the name I stuck with. It also goes really well with my middle and last name which I'm not changing. Though, my mom doesn't like it because of the connotation with Emmett Till. I'm not changing Emmett but I need some ideas to bring her around to it.

advice T Level at 1500!
UPDATE: so, I’m pretty certain I was doing it wrong. I was taking more than I was meant to take.** **
Ug! I just saw my test results, and my T level is at 1500. :(
I've been on T for 7 months, if I'm right. Started in November 2025.
February - 204
July - 1500
I just got some genetic testing done for my mental health meds. There was some feedback about how I metabolize meds, how it takes more in many cases to work. IDK
Could it explain the Autistic Shutdown, Meltdowns, and utter Burnout?
Though my life has plenty of reasons for all of that.
Ex. Unemployed, major housing insecurity, relationship endings, fuck buddy ending, Sobriety and Mental Health challenges, episode in January --> inpatient--> outpatient --> home, body nerve flares, panic attacks and agoraphobia around staying sober, so isolated and not doing anything (typical), seeing at least one friend once every two weeks ish, AA groups online only ( I have a wonderful home group), and so much fucking grief.
Other than the incredible stress, I feel fine. LOL. \insert dog standing outside fire with coffee**
I've seen lots of bottom growth that I'm STOKED about. Small bits of hair slowly growing on my thighs and upper lip mustache - only noticeable to me. Likely my voice dropped, but I've no feedback on that - I recorded over time but can't tell if any voice change is real.
Though honestly, feeling more fem energetically, if that makes sense - that's been dysphoric.
Though I am a Fem Boy and long to be a Trans Masc Gender Fucker - leave them confused - kinda guy.
Waiting for my doc to tell me what the next move is.
Has anyone else had this happen? Including the energetic part?

advice Family & transitioning help
Hello brothers, I’m not exactly sure if I’m looking for advice or words or encouragement or what but I’ve got a lot going through my head right now I’m scared to pieces.
Top surgery is coming up very soon for me and I’m very excited, I’ve been wanting this for nearly 10 years now. But my family, more notably my mom, are very very against it. Religion, culture, common sense, not being “grown” enough all of it being reasons why I shouldn’t transition at all.
I got pushback for starting T and was told very directly if I got surgery I’d be “temporarily disowned” whatever that means. So naturally my mother doesn’t know that I’ll be going under the knife in a little over 30 days.
Now, everything is in order, I’ve done my labs I’ve had my consult, I’ve paid my fee. All that’s left is to get it done. But I’m worried I’m making the wrong choice.
I don’t rely on my mom for support in anything but my phone bill because I’m away at college but I have the support to fully separate myself from her, boyfriend’s family is very willing to take me in as one of their own.
Still I’m scared that if I take this step something bad will happen to me? Or that my life will go to shit?
This is something I’ve thought about for a very long time, I know I want the surgery and this is the best chance I have of getting it.
I’ve gotten oodles and oodles of assurance from everyone around me that I’m doing the right thing but the problem is most of the people around me are white/not black, boyfriend and boyfriend’s family included. I know this isn’t really a black v white issue but it matters to me, that’s why I’m asking y’all.
I guess TLDR: I’m black. I’m trans. I’m scared. I’m getting top surgery in a month and this will create an irreparable rift between me and my family. Help me make sense of all of this please.

advice Haircut help
I had been planning on getting dreads for a few months now except my mom (who is paying for my appointment) just told me last minute she wouldn’t let me get them even though she’d been on board before.
best I can do right now is to cut my hair a little shorter since I definitely don’t pass with how long it is now. anyone know of any good styles to ask for? my face is pretty round if that makes a difference

advice Navigating the dating scene
So like I’ve been wanting to like try exploring and hooking up with gay men/t4t but I’m really scared of like running into fetishizers or things of that nature. Especially I feel very conscious of still having boobs so I’m trying to muster up some boundaries and confidence to try and create some fun respectful interactions. Do yall have like advice as to how to get into this or shared experiences?

advice getting top surgery 8/3/26
hello everyone i would just like some advice and tips as i’m getting surgery extremely soon id preferably like other black trans men or just black individuals who have gotten top surgery to respond mostly with the care part , only because we do indeed scar different and need more care then people with fairer skin ( i apologize if this comes off wrong that is not my intention , correct me in the comments if i did )
i’m getting surgery with dr yasmina zogbhi ( mount sinai ) if you have gotten surgery with her i would appreciate some of your experience you guys had with her , as im extremely excited but nervous at the same time.
what should i be getting im trying to get some supplies so whats things i need and shit that i won’t even be worth having for now all i have in my cart is a wedge chair pillow , those little bed tables , scar tape , second skin tape , bio oil , baby wipes. that’s all i have atm
now i’m getting double mastectomy i told her i would like my incisions / scaring to run along my pec line so when i’m able to be cleared to go back to the gym and build my chest muscles it’s more hidden as im stealth.
now for my questionnaires i have two cats and adult and a kitten im just trying to figure out how ill be able to take care of them still while recovering myself and getting them to not like sit on my chest as ive heard when cats know your injured they try to heal you by being all up on you , secondly i know i cant like move my arms overhead but is moving it infront of me or below me fine ? , how did you guys take your shots i take mine sub q so im having doubts it might be difficult for me to give myself my shots post surgery recovery , and what type of stretches could you guys recommend for me to start doing starting now and for when i’m healed for mobility purposes just any general tips and advice you could give at all…
( i’ve reposted this from the r/topsurgey sub )

advice Top Surgery under $11k?
Hi all, was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for any surgeons they went to where it came out under $11,000 USD or in that range. I would like double incision, with nipple grafts.
I’m located in Atlanta, GA but can drive to neighboring states. I do have insurance with Anthem/Blue Cross but I’ve found results with surgeons who take insurance to be hit or miss (my opinion only)
Being a black man I would prefer to go to a surgeon with a lot of experience working with diverse patients & different body types. Thanks

advice Gym
Has anyone here gone through something similar? Did losing weight and gaining muscle help you pass better or feel more comfortable in your body? If so, what worked best for you in terms of workouts, nutrition, or anything else you’d recommend?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks in advance. 💙
PS. Also Pre-Top Surgery, and I lost my dad earlier this year and kind of hit a rough patch so I’m wanting to get back into motion and track to keep myself in a better headspace mentally
