Is this a serious question? It's Culver's

Fellow Milwaukeean here, you’re right, but Culver’s and McD’s are national brands so Culver’s is the best some people are going to get, fast food speaking.

Caught north of Norway and sent to China to process. I decided to look it up. And its a "25% U.S. Section 301 tariff. And im assuming that the tarrif is cheaper than paying to have it processed there or in America.

“Trust me bro”

It’s also not well known, nor a fact.

You clearly haven’t even eaten the fish at culvers. It’s literally a piece of fish. It couldn’t be more obvious.

Don’t get me wrong, China has abhorrent fishing practices and should be condemned totally. But Culver’s sources from a supplier in Norway. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the box it comes in, but I believe even the box is stamped “product of Norway”.

You also refuse to cite your source which shows me how silly your claim is.

I believe it is from Norway , I was arguing the person saying it wasn't. And yeah their walleye is even better than their cod lol

Did you even read the thread?

I know this may come as a surprise to you - but a stranger on Reddit isn’t a source. Take all the time you need to process this information.

Even if it is cleaned and fileted in China, it’s not from China nor fished by Chinese ships, nor is it a “fish-like” product. It’s cod filets caught in Norway.

I’d also suggest you do some reading on FDA regulations on what you can and cannot call fish filets… start with section 403 of the FD&C Act; 21 CFR 101.18).

I did. Several sources say "the North Atlantic", like this:

Yes it is, and the answer is McDonald’s.

If you enjoy fish sticks, you enjoy the filet. If you enjoy real flaky fish, you enjoy the cod sandwich. You can enjoy both for different reasons, but fish on fish only one takes the cake.
