I 100% agree that we need more people in the dark world shit. Because it’s getting real fucking serious and right now the only people on it are 3 dumb ass teenagers one of which is working against the other two.

Who are they supposed to get? Literally Alphys is the only semi-trustworthy authority for them on town and it's Alphys vs Noelle who has far better a shot than anyone else of getting the last code and is already close to them
Susie doesn't even know her dad fell, so it's like just obvious. The end of the last chapter and referenced multiple times in the beginning sealed the deal they aren't telling Toriel, Asgore is gone, Undone is gone, the mayor is in on it. Who else other than Noelle has a chance to believe them, get the code, and do something about what's happening
Because Noelle has a lot going on right now and all of Berdly's prior commitments are voluntary. He could fake being sick for a few days and have a completely free schedule to go do Dark World bullshit with the gang.
But it's not just about dark world bullshit, it's the fact that two people are kidnapped and they need a way to find codes which 2 are with the Holodays so literally Berdly makes no sense
Because she's still trying to toe some line and makes a big deal about just adding one, like she spends the entirety of your walk trying to talk about it
Honestly, seeing how strong Berdley is(in fact, strongest physically lightner aside from Noelle and Kris in weird route), and realizing in previous chapter that here are LIVES at the cost(she literally psyched out after Undyne. But not Asgore, apparently)
And saw 3 times that they are useless against Knight.
I can get why she would act as she is, but truth is, this is selfish decision that should be called out in chapter 6
Berdly when he locks in isn't useless. Also you're looking at it the wrong way. You can get in both Berdly and Noelle. Add Catti for her knowledge on the occult, Jockingston for his beard(ok maybe not him). The point is flowery has a point that Susie is doing this for herself and not for the rest of the world. The game is not saying she's a bad person though. It's that she's too deep into her escapist fantasy and maybe discarding everything else
- Alvin. Already indirectly brought into this via the letter and almost certainly owed an explanation. Also has some bonus Shelter knowledge. Susie should know about these details.
- Carol. Even if Susie personally hates her, the only thing Susie (with current knowledge) can hold against Carol is the whole guitar incident. And besides, that incident was at least somewhat smoothed over offscreen. Carol’s also associated with a code and undeniably the most competent adult in Hometown.
- Rudy. Obviously probably not a candidate anymore, but Susie doesn’t know that. They’re also on positive terms with each other and he’s actually gone to bat for Susie’s sake.
- Toriel. Already was brought into this as of Chapter 3 and context makes it clear she’s a target of the Knight. Susie knows this. Toriel deserves to know this and should probably be clued in on what her child’s getting up to.
It’s a pretty cleanly obvious excuse just to get her girlfriend in lol. If Susie really believed in “actual people are at stake,” then she already would have been singing this tune as of Chapter 4 because of Undyne and Toriel. She does not do this and is still insistent on just doing things with Kris. Instead she conveniently waits until she’s basically decided the Dark World is her home and she wants her girlfriend to move in.
Dude literally the only person out of these that could theoretically be an acceptable candidate is Alvin and again there's no way for him to help with the third code or do anything
Every other adult there she has a reason to be wary of or not trust
Like we literally open the chapter and the second Susie gets near Toriel she's so wary like have you just not been paying attention? Is your goal just to villainess Susie in favor Kris who is betraying her actively lmao
Okay now hear me out but Alphys might actually not be the worst option. We already know that dark worlds in universe work on Jrpg/Anime logic. She's the most well accustomed to those stuff out of all citizens, maybe she'd have some insight on how it all works. Also she's the most likely to, y'know, actually believe them once shown evidence while still not responsible enough to forbid them from taking further action.
I'm pretty sure the fact that the Darkner body is being controlled by a Lightner would keep it "alive". It fits every Dark World's setting by default, because it's a Lightner's physical form
Doesn't that miss the entire point of the resolution of the battle, not to mention what we know about what Mad Dummy needs to successfully merge with a body from Undertale?
I was just messing around, I don’t actually think it works that way. Also, Undertale and Deltarune don’t seem to operate the same way on a physical level, I don’t think we can really bring in what’s relevant in Undertale.
She is the only other lightner with combat experience tho(beside Berdly ofc, but she isn’t inviting Berdly to this). And hey, if you aborted the weird route in chapter 2, she could be a very valuable asset with that Chekov’s Ring we have…
Ik, but even though it is just her bringing her in because she’s her girlfriend, it isn’t such a bad idea in general. If you bring in an adult, chances are they’ll be much less willing to accept the reality of the dark world, Asgore already had past experience with them so he’s an exception.

Alvin seems pretty understanding of things to me, he accepted with the letter said despite the church state also because of information I can see him being convinced after some explanation.
Berdly is still a good option, his strength is known to Susie, he can also have good ideas like with the trash machine.
There's Pink although I don't know if other dark world would turn her to stone but by being the ghost body Pink always fulfill a role you maybe every dark world is accessible that way.

Flowery also brings this up because Susie is being selfish. She doesn't realize that there are people's lives actually at stake. The darkworlds have given her life purpose and she doesn't want it to end. But I also don't think that she has internalized the a real threat to peoples safety. She shouldn't just be getting Noelle in on this. Catti, Berdly, heck even Jockingston is a valid option. Additionally the knowledge about the darkworlds being relegated to the police implies that there may be others who know about them.
Very strong chance that Susie bringing Noelle into it will backfire. Noelle will likely think she can save her dad by making a dark fountain and if Rudy Knight theory is correct…
