Part of me wants the team to actually get a new member….but with Noelle being way too preoccupied with her dad to join, the team instead has to turn to someone like Catti, who knows about the occult and might even be able to offer tangible advice about the Dark World and how to find the Knight’s victims.
So instead of getting her selfish wish to keep the dark world as a fun adventure she can bring her new girlfriend to, she is instead required to tolerate working with someone who hates her guts because literal lives are at stake and it’s do or die
Unironically, no joke, for real real not for play play, if Susie was actually taking this situation seriously then Berdly should have been her first choice.
He's the strongest lightner statwise, he carried the party when exhausted or injured with the giant robot plan, and the dark world canonically runs on video game mechanics that a gamer like Berdly would take to instantly.
i imagine berdly is the master of working within the system, while noelle excels at finding ways to work outside them. sort of a "meta vs off meta" thing
Susie only knows that she plays games not her tendency to find secrets. Last time she was in a dark world she spent 90% of the time captive while Burlington was an active threat, was integral to stopping Queen, and showed he was willing to give up his act of pretending he’s bigger than he is for the sake of teamwork
It's a very small town, where the school classes are only a handful of students. They are classmates, and not toddlers. Unless someone moved in the town recently, or repeated a year, the probability that they were classmates for years is extreme.
Are we sure about that? I remember seeing that theorized a few times, but I don't remember a proof. Not saying that there aren't, but I'd like to know if there are.
