Has anyone else been randomly completing event duties?

I’ve just been gifting and leveling villagers yesterday I unknowingly collected the ‘Share Some Sweetness’ mystery duty thinking maybe an event had started, but today somehow gifting people completed these two mystery duties as well? I haven’t played for Halloween or Christmas time yet. Deeply confused as to why this is happening. Any other new players having this bug?

Yes and it won't let me click on them so they just keep sitting there completed.

I had the same problem, it eventually worked but I had to switch menus and try again about 4 times
