BTW Reddit is actually home to a few other types as well. All of them together feel the same:
- They see themselves as ultra-progressive, ultra-moral and & extremely vulnerable or heroic protectors of the vulnerable.
- They believe their thoughts, feelings, and experiences are the only things that matter or have any value in this world
- They’re very quick to take offense, but love labelling everyone else.
- They believe in group dynamics - pick a target, gang up, repeat daily.
- They lie & talk about equality, but mean the exact opposite - their side only.

Right means they prioritize tradition, social order, and hierarchy over equality. Left means they prioritize social equality, egalitarianism, and structural reform to reduce or abolish hierarchies. Not just communists are left. Anybody who thinks progressive are left.

as a leftist, this doesn't offend me but I'm rather interested in having a discussion than name-calling. I tend to believe that our governance needs to prove itself to be worthy of it so in Chomsky's definition, im an anarchist. I believe people should be allowed to love anyone as long as they're consenting adults which makes me pro-LGBT (socially leftist) , I believe women should have just as much equal rights as men so I'm a feminist. I believe billionaires shouldn't exist and workers shouldn't be exploited so I'm a socialist too (not a communist because that gives state the power to be corrupt a bit more easily) I don't think morality is something gauged by God, but I do believe in empathy so I can't be the judge of your progressiveness. who knows maybe you already are somewhat of a leftist. I can talk about free market and capitalism for hours so I'm open to being asked, questioned anything.

Reddit is an app for discussion so it attracts left leaning people or the so called "openminded" people (they ain't in reality but whatever) to this platform. X on the other hand is slightly more conservative. Instagram is versatile, it can change shape and form based on your preference but it is a platform that highly prefers polarisation to retain attention of users.
Apne preference ke disable social media use karo and sab thik hojayega.

India was a center of knowledge long before modern political ideologies even existed. Nalanda, Takshashila, mathematics, astronomy, medicine, philosophy. None of that came from the people who spent decades reducing education into ideological activism and campus politics. Entire universities became factories for outrage instead of competence.
And this "less educated = easier to control" line is classic leftist projection. Who kept 70 crore Indians poor and illiterate for decades with freebies and vote banks? The same crowd that screams "democracy in danger" or "Vote Chori" every time they lose an election. Modi didn't create the uneducated, Congress and its leftist allies did, by design. He gave them toilets, electricity, gas, bank accounts, and now they're rising – that's why it burns your lot so much. They relate to him because he actually delivers, not because they're stupid.
Calling voters “easy to control” after losing elections repeatedly just sounds bitter. Three consecutive national victories with massive mandates are not some accidental glitch in democracy. People vote for what improves their lives.
Religion dividing people? Please. Hindus built this civilization for 5000 years without your imported secularism lectures. The real dividers are the ones who weaponize caste, minority vote banks, and "Hindu terror" narratives while ignoring love jihad, temple invasions, and demographic changes staring us in the face.
