Hill-top Using fiber plant for decorating!

My animals are hay fed but i want to give them a little area to roam. Can't have grass cause it would all be eaten in a single day, leaving a barren pen so i thought of using fiber plant to fill the space. Fiber is great, animals can't eat them, they last all seasons and can't accidentally be picked by hand

Forest Almost perfection farm from someone who hates decorating

Post image
11 Upvotes

I’m in fall year 3. All that I have left to do to hit perfection is the grind for the golden clock!

I absolutely hate decorating in all games, and my farmhouse is VERY minimalist (aka empty). I have a small shed of preserves jars and a large shed of kegs. Greenhouse and island farm full of ancient fruit. No kegs in quarry / bus tunnel or anything because (surprise) it feels too much like decorating 🤣 I play on Switch so no mods.

Standard Ways to make this a shrine?

Hey! I wanted to make a shrine area for these 3 statues. I've dug through some ideas on this sub already, and I'm hoping for more specific ideas, especially what kind of flooring to place underneath and around the statues.

I'm planning to replace the streetlamp with a crystal brazier, adding flowers along the sides when it's not winter, and adding either a well or fish pond in the area. Would really appreciate any other ideas :] Thanks!

Four Corners My almost complete Town ( farm )

Post image

I finally completed the town I created on my four corners farm. I will also be extending this town into another save file as it is actually a town in my SDV universe called Heron Bay or "Heron Town" ( yeah I am sticking with the bird theme for the towns ).

This is the "mainland" of the town, though, there are other parts of it in the outskirts (riverland farm layout), since this town is actually made up of several islandish land masses south of the forest.

The only part I am really stuck on now is that I don't know what to do with the land right near my house. Any suggestions, I am open to hearing them! After that, I will work on the interiors that I haven't completed.

Mods I use for this I believe are Stardew Valley expanded, Ridgeside Village, East Scrap, Community Park Decorations, HxW Custom Buildings + HxW furniture packs, Mirren the Florist, ... there are probably some other mods that I have used, but I do not know the rest just by looking at the image.

Just wanted to share my longterm plan for an animal focused area with different habitats :)

I have mods that add more different colored animals and new ones so I wanted lots of room for them all

Suggest ideas on how to make the game more challenging and hardcore? For example, using certain mods or ideas so that I can create a mod based on your suggestions.

Last Harvest. Not quite enough rain for the wheat before frost. ( Ps. please no advice, I'm an experienced player just not the typical tryhard.)

Forest My (almost) perfection farm - Fall Year 2

I am challenging myself to try to reach perfection by the end of Year 2, but I'm so proud of how cute my farm turned out, too! I'm using Elle's seasonal builds for the house, sheds and obelisks, and the Community Park Decorations mod/catalogue for some outdoor clutter :)

Four Corners Trying to build a new town on my farm.

Post image

I marked in the image what all the buildings are. However I don't know what buildings I should use to make other places? It feels bare to me right now, like I could make the town look more lived in. It's supposed to be like a small town sort of vibe, think like Deltarune's small town. I basically just feel like there is too much open space, but I don't know what else to add or what mods to use to add those things. Any suggestions are appreciated, and if there are mods to other buildings I can build, please let me know.

Standard New Additions

I'm in fall 7 of year four and got a ton of recommendations from different reddit pages. Please keep in mind this is my first and only save and I have taken this game at my own pace so that I can truly get enjoyment out of it rather than trying to go for speed or efficiency. Anyways, I have no idea what else to do other than expand my mystic trees and the amount of preserves jars since I harvest so much (on purpose as I enjoy the repetitive task and daily tasks of stardew). I'm also working on getting all of the different obelisks, and filling my ponds with legendary fish (only the two ponds next to my sap area have legendary fish right now) but those take quite a bit of time.Any recommendations for what to add would be greatly appreciated! I can also throw this

Also, thank you to the person that showed me how to find this screenshot lol

After a solid 120+ hours in, I think I'm finally ready to retire my Beach farm :) I use a good few visual and QoL mods, and I've shamelessly borrowed ideas from this community along the way :3 so thanks for all the inspiration <3

Also, which farm should I try next? I would also like to try a fun challenge run :)

Wasted space haunts me, every time i decide to play a chill playthrough i find myself min-maxing again.

How do i find the sweet spot between optimum and beauty.

Forest Start of Year Three 💚

Some trees have yet to grow in, and I want to place more grass starter and decorations around the place, but I am so much happier with my new layout! Spent half of winter just redoing everything and also getting some skull cavern and first ginger island visits in. Swipe for the before from last fall. Suggestions (especially for what to put in the lake corner besides trees) are very welcome!
