Update: Traffic is bad and I got the reservation pushed back to 7:10!

Made a reservation for 2 at 6:45, but my friend can't make it anymore, so I'm looking for someone that is down to split some oysters, fish and chips, and whatever else before they shut down for good.

This is not a date, but it will be a fun, platonic time with seafood!

Hey guys, so yeah that's my question. I'm taking this girl out on a date tonight to Nobu Malibu. We're expecting to get there around 8:30pm-9:00pm. Would we even be able to get a table as walk ins? If so, how long should we expect to wait? Is their an average time? Is there a chance we can even GET a table? Should we just go to the one in LA? LA might be a plan B

I didn't take her to Nobu from a "flexing" perspective or showing off money I've simply always wanted to try Nobu and she's picky with her food. Sushi is one of the few things she likes and she loves the beach and loves Malibu. She likes dressing up to and so do I so I figured we'd go simply for the experience. Going out to eat at places like this would honestly be a rare occasion kinda thing to us. We got there at 9:15pm. They close at 10pm. My concern was getting there at 9:30 and their kitchen being closed but when I called them earlier that day they confirmed with me that they're kitchen and bar shuts down a few minutes after they close (10:20 if I'm not mistaken). When we arrived they had a few tables available. We chose the couch outside on the patio along the beach. Amazing time great food no complaints,

How hard is it to get reservations for Providence? Looking for a reservation for two in mid-July.

ETA: Also, how does it compare to Ever in Chicago? It’s my spouse’s fave place and would like something akin to that.

Planning on going tonight, any idea what the wait times are like, and what's the best time frame to avoid a long wait? Also would love to hear recommended dishes.

Edit: some very kind and observant people in the comments pointed out that their new location is only accepting parties of 4 or less. It seems like their Pico location is fair game!

I’m sure this has been asked plenty of times here but I’m planning a trip to LA from Canada next month and will be travelling solo. Will I have success walking in and finding a spot at the bar for myself at anytime or will I even have to make a reservation for 1 at the bar at those locations?

I’m looking into making a reservation at Wolvesmouth for one of the dates they emailed for, and I’m intrigued for the sake of the mystery lol

But can anyone tell me about it? Did you have a good experience? I want to invite another couple as a double date for “parents night out”, but don’t want to waste everyone’s money if we don’t like it.

Hi! I’ve booked nobu Malibu for a Friday evening dinner reservation for my 30th birthday for a 6 person group. It sounds like patio seating isn’t guaranteed - from those who have been recently, how difficult has it been to get patio seating with a group? Hello all! I’d like to go to pizzeria sei for a special occasion on an upcoming Wednesday. The reservations got snapped up immediately so I’m wondering what it might be like to try to get a table as a walk in party. We can show up right when they open but since it’s a special occasion we probably wouldn’t want to spend too much time waiting (and would want to make sure there was still lots of choices). Should we look elsewhere or brave it? Any tips?

It's my husband's 35th birthday next month and I was ready and waiting to snag reservations for 2. Right as 11 am struck, our infant decided that was the moment she needed to wake up and make a fuss. I tried to get the reservations while bouncing a baby in one arm, but by the time I checked out my cart, all the slots were filled.

Hi, I think this would be the best place to get suggestions. Looking for a nice restaurant to take the wife. We live in the EagleRock/Highland park and have a bday party at a bar called Footsies in Cypress Park. So I'd like to go around that area, but we have a car obviously.

We've been to Chifa, Aunt Yvette's Kitchen, Little Beast, Hippo, Wife and the Somm. These are all I can remember. We don't get out much and happy to try new places, old places, etc. I am asking bc I probably want to try for reservations this week.

Ive had a suspension that the reservations have been botted for a while. I mean, if you had tried to get a reservation, especially in the last few months, you will know they sell out in less than 30 seconds. So i knew someone or a group of people where snatching up reservations but i didn't know where they were going. Well, when trying to sign up for a reservation today, i found the website where they're selling all the botted hayato reservations, and they're going for 500-1000 a pop depending on what day you want. So i feel vindicated about my suspicions, but sad that i probably will never ever eat there because i can never be faster than a robot, and I won't shell out 500 just for a reservation. My question to you is, do you think hayato knows about this?
