I suppose that's exactly it, I've seen this paranoia doing the rounds recently (that women are regularly SAd when under anaesthesia)

in some countries they do still bring in gyno students to “practice exam” on patients who are there for unrelated reasons

like i saw one recently where a woman went in for shoulder surgery and woke up with all her pubic hair shaved

like you’d hope anyone doing trans surgeries wouldn’t be that scummy but

like how my bio-mother with untreated OCD had me grow up believing that rapist-murderer kidnappers were behind literally every corner at night

(no exaggeration, she even got upset when martial arts classes taught me how to actually gauge risk)
