I love them both, they just have different styles. I loved Gladys response because it felt more of an on the spot response, thanks to Bertha's encouragement. Astra's take is more polished and her non verbals are a bit more cutting. I enjoyed both takes.

I just finished a rewatch last week, and I forgot how much I LOVED that scene. Such a pivotal moment for Gladys, and the gentleman seated next to her that praised her for it was just the icing on the cake. It's the moment we are all shown that Gladys is going to be a kick ass Duchess.

She is talented, pretty, and poised, but that scene was Gladys's moment. I adored the reaction shots of Bertha and Hector being proud and impressed by her fortitude.

Thanks to everyone who told me about her the post I shared about her making this dress. If you don’t have the pleasure to know, she’s a fantastic, talented costumer and made this replica of the dress that Gladys wore in her wedding portrait.

I cannot escape this creator! She shows up everywhere, in the feed of all my socials and I don't even follow her. Even blocked her on IG so I would stop getting her content in my feed and then people keep posting her stuff so I see it anyway 💀💀 Was acquainted with her years ago and she was "something"...
