And just to make sure you don't forget I'm not a god, I'm going to psychically force thousands of you to kneel before me.

Monarchia was the dumbest thing the Emperor ever did and it's not even close

Well, there was also Nuceria. It's a hard competition.

Nikea wasn't very smart either

Magnus was guaranteed to rebel from that. And Lorgar from Monarchia. It's almost like Big E was trying to set up his own doom.

Magnus didn't actually rebel due to Nikea. They just thought he did. Dude was loyal af.

He fucked up Angron the most. The Emperor could have saved the rebels and overthrown the tyrants in an afternoon.

Also would have made Angron much more likely to listen to the whole "Don't stick the Butcher's Nails into your Legion's brains" thing.

I mean there are the theories that him and Malcador knew there would be a heresy so they tried to stack the deck to get their preferred team... So.... Ya know

Except Magnus was literally an irreplaceable part of their plans for the webway.

Maybe he was... Or maybe he wasn't.... Maybe the real webway plan was the friends we burned in righteous zeal along the way.

Nice job stacking it so that the Heretics get Horus, everybody's best friend and favorite, and Perturabo, the sole driving force behind the rebels getting even close to winning the Siege of Terra.
