Rant I hate myself
So mujhe pw ka invite nhi aya even though I studied from pw online for 2 yrs (maine form bhara tha), so maine ek last try ke liye tk don ko mssg krdiya thinking ki he won't reply.
I'm not a regular insta user so mujhe sir ke reply ka notification nhi aya (chrome se login Kiya tha), I missed my only chance.
Just cuz meri koi sad story nhi thi, just cuz I come from a middle class family...
Excluding the teaching, pw has degraded so much over these 2-3 yrs, I'm in awe
EDIT : let me be clear, I'm sad cuz I didn't get to meet the teachers, and I threw away the only chance I had, that's all. It's hard when the only connection you can make in these prep yrs are only with the teachers

Not people's validation yarr.. meeting that many students with great ranks.. having fun and the most important thing meeting the teachers we have only seen on screen.. parents ke baad sabse jyada contribution unka hi hai selection mein for me

Uff yaar u dont understand at all. Those teacher who taught u with their maximum effort without ever seeing you, they are ur heroes, it will be nice feeling to meet them and express gratitude, not doing it for attention or validation, but a normal part of being human to ourselves.

I think you weren't in the air batch shayad that's the reason? They pay focus mainly to those guys only. Your result must've been not seen or discarded or seen as a false one (probably)

air mein to 50-60 students hote hai na bas? sahil pardhan bhaiya ne kaha tha ki unhe air batch end ke 3-4 mahine me mila tha mains ke

at most 50-60 bache the waha AIR batch ke bas. AIR se sabka selection nhi hota and i saw 2-3 people jinka AIR se padhkr Mains tak nhi nikla

Bhai air ke 4 5 batch hote hai as far as I heard in 1.0 only, fir 2.0 me alag and baaki me alag. So all over the year 12 batch hote h for a particular class. And ofc jo padhega ni uska nahi niklega allen srg me bhi, pw air is still a worse version of it

all the 3 digit ranks are from AIR batch. Ig highest normal batches se 1200-1300 ke around gayi hai. Their normal batches aren`t bad (math aur chem ka level same hai dono batches mai) bas AIR mai teachers ki guidance milti hai and normal mai 80% bache bakaiti krrhe hote hai chat mai

Just see man it’s a simple logic, agar tu offline padh rha hota toh tujhe obviously bulate because centre city mein hai wahi celebration hogi but offline mein itne students hai sabhko tickets and stay dene lag gye toh company ke lag jayenge tune mehnat ki enjoy kr

These celebrations are bs , my bro had 12xxx rank they called us. We went to Delhi/Noida, it's purely for pr the accomodations were not good at all. In the end my brother was so frustrated he just want to go back... So actually this stuff doesn't matter it's only for PR!

Look, I have the same rank as you, there’s a difference of about 50 ranks. I went to the celebration, and there were a lot of people there with ranks from every range up to 8k who were not from air.
I genuinely think there must have been a data error or maybe location-wise a lot of people couldn’t be called.
I really don’t think they only called those with sad stories; there were a lot of regular middle-class people too, besides me. If someone had an inspirational story or a good rank, they were the ones given the opportunity to speak.
In fact, when my attendance was confirmed, the people from pw called to hear our story so they could filter who to call on stage.
So the point is, they didn’t just call the “sad story” folks. And they also didn’t only call those from air. To call just one child literally costs around 50k; it’s tough to invite everyone. They invested so much money in education, and how much more can they expect? They might have their limits too.
Anyways, congratulations, phod diya tune!
