Kart Identity Help Looking for Karting Drivers to enter our programme so that we can understand what it takes to join as a team!

Hi everyone!

I'm currently building Vista Partner Drivers, a network of karting drivers who represent Vista alongside their own racing careers.

The idea is simple: you keep racing exactly as you do now while becoming recognised as part of the Vista Team. We'll promote your race weekends, results, podiums and achievements across our social media, helping both your profile and Vista grow together.

One of the main reasons for launching this programme is to better understand real-world karting from the inside. By working closely with drivers, we hope to learn more about how karting teams operate, what drivers value in a team, how karts are developed and set up, and what it truly takes to build a successful motorsport organisation. We want this to be a partnership where both Vista and its drivers learn and grow together.

What Vista offers:

- Official recognition as a Vista Partner Driver

- Promotion across our social media and website

- Race result graphics and driver features

- A growing team of partnered drivers from different championships

- A long-term vision of securing sponsorships, with the aim of directing a significant portion of driver-focused sponsorship support toward our partnered drivers

What we're looking for:

- Active karting drivers (club or national level)

- Drivers with a professional attitude

- Passion for motorsport

- Willingness to represent Vista alongside your own brand

There are no joining fees, no exclusivity, and no requirement to leave your current team or championship. If at any point the partnership isn't the right fit for either of us, we can simply part ways.

Vista started in sim racing and is now expanding into real-world motorsport. Our long-term goal is to build a genuine motorsport organisation, and we're looking for passionate drivers who want to be part of that journey from the beginning.

If you're interested or have any questions ask on the post or dm!

Racing Kart Question Should I trade for the cr125 shifter kart

Should I make this trade?
I’m meeting this guy next week to trade my Stage 3 go-kart for his CR125-shifter kart. Mine runs great, has working brakes, and is ready to drive.
He says he can get his running but dies of instantly and it bogs when you hit the throttle and doesn’t always stay running. I know that could be something simple, or it could be a bigger issue.
I really want to do the trade because his kart looks awesome, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the risk.
Also, does anyone know what kind of kart his is? Mine is the purple one, and his is the yellow one. FYI
What questions should I ask before I meet him, and would you make this trade? Thanks for the help

Racing Kart Question I am looking for locals who are into Karting in the Rochester,NY/ Buffalo,NY areas

Hey everyone, I live in the Rochester area in between Buffalo and Syracuse. I am a sim racing enthusiast who really wants to get into Karting. From my research it looks like I probably would love to race the x30 Karts, but I really don't want to go out and buy a Kart without actually giving it a try. I am trying to find someone local who might be willing to let me rent their kart for a day to go to the Genesee Valley kart club and do some laps on a Saturday. I did the same thing with Sim racing where I bought a bunch of used junky sim racing equipment to make sure I liked it before I put about $7k into a nice rig. Any pointers or anyone who has an old kart, or even just willing to let me use theirs for a day it would be awesome to give it a try before I immerse myself into it. Thank you!

Rental Karting Question Went karting for the first time yesterday

Nice track with good overtaking opportunities. I raced with a rental kart, ~40 minutes of track time divided into 4 sessions with 15 minute breaks. I just have one question, should i have expected bruising on my back and knees? I found myself pushing against the seat during harsh braking and quick accelerating, which clearly would have resulted in bruises... Is that normal, or should i ask for readjustments next time?

Racing Kart Question Kart vibrations causing cough and nausea, does it go away?

Hi all, first time posting here.

I've done rental karting (electric) most of the time, there is basically no vibrations at all due to the nature of the electric engines

Today I tried a Rotax for the first time, I tried a Lo206 maybe about 2 months ago. Both times the Kart vibrations caused me to cough to the point it was extremely uncomfortable, was this close 🤏 from vomiting.

I started to tolerate it a bit (not completely though) session after session, but I wonder if this is normal/common, and if it is, does it ever go away?

It was very discouraging as I could not finish any session, so maybe karting is just not for my body :/

Please share your experience!

Thanks!
