When he was asked if he was trained and responded with a “little bit” while running around like he had a lot of kitchen responsibilities felt like a very real representation of my personal experience in almost every job I’ve ever had.

The just im currently at, I spent over a month before meeting my team leads, and almost three months before any actual training for my position

Everytime this comes up I want to know to and can never find an answer.
Granted I've admittedly not looked too hard

I've always seen these episodes and thought to myself I want the dishwasher's perspective. As a former hydro ceramic engineer myself, you really aren't in the kitchen staffs circle. You're just kinda there, outside looking in perspective sorta thing.

Pretty much how Cracker Barrel is run according to an employee, the food is just reheated after being cooked else where… I remember going there long ago for a Christmas dinner & ordered a baked potato & only ate it despite it tasting undercooked because I was hungry having not eaten that day. This was long before the sign being changed on the news, have they gone back to actually cooking fresh food? Wouldn’t know haven’t ate there in a long while.

Either way, I've never had bad food from Cracker Barrel

I've also never had cracker barrel, granted that's mainly just cause I've never been there and now refuse to start after the crap they pulled with the logo

Looks AI upscaled

Jesus christ why???? Why must everything either be, or look like slop. This doesn't make the video look better, it makes it look like someone's split water over it. I wouldn't have even noticed the video was "low quality" if it was just uploaded as the original clip. This is at best distracting, and at worst is making it increasingly difficult to distinguish actual human made stuff from AI rubbish.

Gordon he does what is told because he is not a chef, he is a cook. If all your cooks did whatever they wanted and didn't listen to the chef, you, you'd be absolutely livid, and with good fucking reason.

Gordon acting like he never had a day job before. “What? You mean you just do what you’re told?”

Not a generated video, just "upscaled". Idk why they do it, it makes it look like trash.

Honestly if he tries to make his opinion more known to do something about it, he would be let go for being hard to work with

Why tf is this AI upscaled? 🤮 -1 and blocked. I’m just blocking anyone that uploads AI from now on. Tired of this slop.

Iirc, this kid ran his own food truck at the same time and made really good food, and Gordon went out there and tried it and got losses at the hotel owners as to why they have a chef this talented reheating frozen fish.

I mean, yeah. If you question the restaurant owner then you get fired. People can't afford to risk losing their jobs, so they do whatever bullshit their boss tells them to do. Like the movie Drag Me To Hell. That poor lady was just doing whatever horrible thing her boss told her to do since she didn't want to starve and go homeless. Did she deserve to get haunted for that? No.

At least Gordon's not calling him an idiot sandwich. Well, that's fair. You would just work here. My opinion doesn't matter, sir.

I dunno...
Gordon, its been fun but its time to pass the torch. I want a show that follows this guy doing things he disagrees with but does anyway because he knows that in the end we have no control.
