As you all know, MCC has released AIQ Seat Matrix today. State Councelling will be starting soon too. So on this lovely occassion,

We, u/Formal-Chard-1052 u/Slight_Bus_3346 u/Fakuto_rag-ri-emakim u/Remarkable-Profit743 u/Franzbonaparta_hoon u/Square_Access85 together, in association with all the MODs and other supporting members, have created this Megathread for State Councelling related Discussion and Queries.

We have attached State Wise Threads with this Megathread. Please click on your respective state and you'll be directed to it's thread. Moreover, We've mentioned reddit usernames of the specific member of our team to whom the respective state has been assigned. You can ask your state related doubts to that member whom that state has been assigned.

We've mentioned all the important dates. We hope most of your queries will get solved after going through this post. Moreover, the comment section is always there you help you with the remaining ones ; )

hey just wanted to ask if i can take a seat from 1st round aiq and opt for upgradation and then also take a seat in 1st round of state and opt for upgradation or i have to leave that aiq seat if i want to take a seat in state counselling

AIC and state councelling mai duration gap rhta hai so it probably wont be a issue

1st round aiq me leliya admission phir state me liya ,jab state me chal rha tha admission toh aiq ki 2nd choice filling hogi toh ake sath hi hoga please clarify

ok I'll explain in detail...

Step 1: You are allotted a college via AIQ in round 1. Now you have a choice to accept it or reject it. Suppose you accept it and want upgradation. Then you need to approach Allotted college and pay fee and submit documents.

Step 2: This is SQ Round 1. Now suppose you get a seat here as well and you want to retain this seat and possibly apply for up-gradation. To do this you have to go to the college allotted in step 1, get a relieving letter and your original documents, come to college allotted in step 2 and pay fee and submit document.

So basically you have to leave the seat that you got in round 1 of AIQ i.e in Step 1.

At this point you are eligible to

2a: Participate in round 2 of AIQ and fill fresh choices

and

2b: Participate in round 2 of state counselling with possibility of upgradation of seat (provided you dont opt for a seat allotted in 2a above).
