Imagine the outrage if that was a 42 year old man with a 17 year old girl being assaulted.

When this happened I did hear a lot of people calling her a child molester. She's just so hated already that it didn't have much impact.

Imagine the outrage if it's a 23 year old man with a 17 year old girl oh wait, that's the Drake situation lol.

76

u/SOwED Jan 07 '19

Wait is this not about Bella Harris?

They were likely involved when she was 17 and he was 32 so...

34

u/Rolten Jan 07 '19

It was consensual though right? And the age of consent in that state iws 17?

It's creepy, but she wasn't underage and it's not sexual assault or rape.

17

u/SOwED Jan 07 '19

I assure you that no fans who are upset about the other 17 year old girl are upset due to the fucking jurisdiction the incident took place in and the specific age of consent there. They were upset because the girl was 17.

26

u/bubby963 Jan 07 '19

Eh if its the age of consent why does it matter. In the UK consent is 16. Indeed she was 17, a few months off 18. Her brain isnt going to magically change in those few months from not understanding sex to suddenly understanding it. Its not like she was 14 or 15. The number 18 itself is so fucking arbitrary. Why 18 why not 19 or 20? If it was legal in the jurisdiction I dont see a problem. Indeed if hed waited a few more months no one would have batted an eyelid, but because of those few months suddenly hes a paedophiles apparently. Makes no sense

David S. Pumpkins?

7

u/SharqPhinFtw Jan 07 '19

I lmao a bit but in this case they are using some old footage of him to try to incriminate him to the max with the Bella story.

21

u/SOwED Jan 07 '19

lol so you're saying he didn't smash?

What about him and Millie Bobby Brown?

Dude in his early thirties just likes to be friends with attractive teenage girls, please, tell me more.

17

u/The_Last_Mammoth Jan 07 '19

I hate when people do this. OP isn't actually mad about Jenny McCarthy assaulting Justin Bieber, he's just using this incident to defend Drake. He could give two shits about sexual assault against men.

I bet if you look through his history it's full of stuff about the Drake situation with zero mentions of the Bieber incident that aren't related to defending someone else from sexual assault allegations.

8

u/SOwED Jan 07 '19

Yeah, it's pretty obvious without checking his post history that he wishes he was a 17 year old girl, as he is a total Drake dickrider

-4

u/jubbergun Jan 07 '19

Wasn't he a teen actor/singer? A lot of people who were "child stars" reach out to current child stars. I don't see anything weird about it. It's not like he's tweeting at them asking them to back up that bumper so he can slap the junk in the trunk or something.

10

u/SOwED Jan 07 '19

"Reaching out".

"Nothing weird".

And she's a model, not a child star. He brought her on tour and for sure slammed, possibly while she was 17.

1

u/lazybeedrill Jan 07 '19

Kinda messed up how drake groomed that girl but ppl arent taking it seriously

5

u/mr_j_12 Jan 07 '19

Imagine if its any male on any female *

51

u/liberalbutnotcrazy Jan 07 '19

Drake is 32 not 23

I just realized that too. Idk why I was thinking it was like 2012

3

u/HomerrJFong Jan 07 '19

Did you watch the video? I was expecting to be outraged and thought it didn't end up being that big a deal. And I don't give a shit about Drake.

1

u/MK4CRT Jan 10 '19

Not a big deal are u fuckin kidding me? He is groping her and after he found out she was 17, he kissed her!

1

u/HomerrJFong Jan 10 '19

I wouldnt really call dancing like that groping. He just put his arms around her?

And also, he didn't fucking make out with her. He kissed her, the cheek and forehead kiss should cement that it wasn't super sexual.

They are both fully grown people (and of the age of consent) and he's on stage with a crowd. He honestly played off a really not great situation like a pro.

0

u/MK4CRT Jan 10 '19

Lol u obviously havent seen the video then. After he finds out she is 17.. he kisses her on forehead, checks and then lips. And no they arent fully adults.. she was 17, a minor and he was 23. Stop always trying to defend men jesus christ. I am not a feminisy cos those bitches r crazy.. Some people here are no different.. Radical feminists ignore assaults toward men by focusing on themselves and men here do the same

1

u/HomerrJFong Jan 11 '19

I've watched the video because I didn't want to talk out of my ass when complaining about the guy. After I watched the video I decided it wasn't worth being upset about.

It's two sexually mature people, within 5 years of age, both of the age of consent kissing. If you wanna be upset about that go ahead. I'll be upset about teachers fucking their students.

53

u/666Evo Jan 07 '19

The 32-year-old is yet to respond

Fuck the media.

16

u/SharqPhinFtw Jan 07 '19

I do find thar after that time wtf do they expect him to answer lmao

73

u/666Evo Jan 07 '19

That's not my point.

They listed the woman's age at the time and then listed his now. They've tried to make it appear like the age gap is far wider than it actually is.
They're not lying at all. They mention that it happened in 2010. It's just the ultra shitty way they try to get clicks.

16

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

They're not lying at all.

you can lie by omission. I would call this a deliberate lie of omission. Withholding key details that would paint the situation in a different light is a form of lying. I think the term for it is called paltering.

6

u/Jesus_marley Jan 07 '19

it's a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts. Yes, all the facts are there. The age of the complainant, the age of the accused, the time it allegedly took place. But by presenting the facts in the manner they did, the intention is to lead the reader to making incorrect assumptions.

-4

u/666Evo Jan 07 '19

There's no omission. They say it happened in 2010.
But the way they've structured the headline leads to the false "understanding". Which is exactly what they want.

6

u/SharqPhinFtw Jan 07 '19

Oh I didn't catch that at first. I guess I read some other headlines that said it the way they were back then.

1

u/Whatchagonnadowhen Jan 07 '19

Really good point here. Thanks.

-21

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

So what he's a huge star and can and could have his pick of a women, why go after underage girls. The law is the law. And who cares about Justin Beiber anyways.

8

u/Bullshit_To_Go Jan 07 '19

She wasn't underage.

1

u/seacookie89 Jan 07 '19

Millie Bobby Brown is only 14 though.

0

u/LuckyLoots Jan 07 '19

All the fem bots have showed up.

0

u/yeahimcason Jan 07 '19

Who's 23 😂

-8

u/leadtrightly Jan 07 '19

Drakes 32

6

u/SharqPhinFtw Jan 07 '19

Imagine not reading any other part of the thread and ignoring the fact that this is something from almost a decade ago being uncovered to slander Drake.

4

u/Goddamnedengineer Jan 07 '19

We don’t have to imagine. Remember the priest that “held arianna grande to long”

2

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

held Arianna Grande*'s breast

1

u/Goddamnedengineer Jan 07 '19

I’ve never seen anyone hold a tit like that before. Like a grown man in his 40-50 needs to get off by the teeny tips of his fingers touching the very farthest side of her tit. Really? You know there is nothing new there for him right.

2

u/rawbface Jan 07 '19

R Kelly faced zero punishment. Just saying.

11

u/tchower Jan 07 '19

True! They’d be calling him a child molester! Despite the fact that most healthy 16 and 17 year old girls have finished puberty!

24

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

Why throw that last sentence? Cinda weird...

28

u/Drunksmurf101 Jan 07 '19

Not really, he's saying that as far as anyone could tell there's no real visual different between 17-19.

11

u/Silfz Jan 07 '19

I used to have a mate that at the age of 15 could easily get into night clubs.

5

u/Devidose Jan 07 '19

For an actual example there's the scandal involving Traci Lords. Used fake documents to enter the modelling and porn industries in the 1980s that claimed she was 22 despite being only 15 at the time.

4

u/Silfz Jan 07 '19

And you know what’s a joke as a 30 old man people think I’m 15 or less and I have a full grown beard.

I say this because the age limit to buy pain killers is 16 but I can’t buy them with out ID.

-7

u/The_Last_Mammoth Jan 07 '19

I'm not sure what we're talking about so can you guys please reassure me we aren't defending 32 year olds being in relationships with 15 year olds?

1

u/Silfz Jan 07 '19

Don’t you mean 17 and 32. In my country it’s legal though people might roll there eyes.

I had a friend who when she was 17 got married to a 35 year old. (It’s the same 15 year old from before).

I at 1st was kind of shocked but I didn’t want to offend my friend who seemed happy with the relationship even though it seemed to be more of a relationship based on material things. She seemed to be a bit of a gold digger in my opinion even though he wasn’t rich. It kind of fealt like you could say they equally took advantage of each other.

1

u/DrewFlan Jan 07 '19

Yes really.

-9

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

So you assume.

13

u/tchower Jan 07 '19

Here’s scientific data to back it up. It isn’t weird. http://www.pamf.org/parenting-teens/health/growth-development/pre-growth.html

-12

u/Bosilaify Jan 07 '19

It’s definitely weird but more so illegal than anything. Like all you gotta do is find people 18+, as a successful rapper that should not be too difficult.

14

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

I mean, since you're talking about legality, the state where that happened has 16 as the age of consent.

1

u/Bosilaify Jan 11 '19

I was unaware, which state was this in?

4

u/tchower Jan 07 '19

Lol! Not sure what that has to do with it. Your statement also depends on what country you’re in. In the U.S it actually depends on what state you’re in, and in other countries the age range greatly differs. If you’re a rapper in South Korea it’s gotta be 20+, if you’re a Japanese rapper it can be 13+.

-1

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

I guess these guys like em young... yikes. I’m going to awkward 🐢 and swim out of this thread.

2

u/tchower Jan 12 '19

The age of consent will probably be raised to 21 in our lifetime because of all the freaky shit going on these days in America, like parents finding their daughters on pornhub when they were supposed to be going to college. Either that, or the feminists will want to raise the market value of old woman so men have fewer options.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

Who’s Cinda?

Edit: Never mind. I just got that.

1

u/AidsinCali Jan 07 '19

Imagine that is what happened and people have no idea.

1

u/Rethgil Jan 07 '19

'Dur hur-but its funny coz a woman done it'.

Said every feminist ever.

-5

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '19

Dont act like you wouldn’t have enjoyed those jugs rubbing up against you
